Donate School Supplies to Help Project Libertad

Throughout August, we are asking WellSpringers to help with the purchase of art boxes and supplies for Project Libertad.  As you may remember, Rachel Rutter from Project Libertad was a guest speaker during our Neighbors & Helpers community outreach message series.  Your support will help immigrant families by providing needed supplies for the new school year.  Our goal is to fill up to 120 art boxes, so any contributions will be greatly appreciated!  YouthSpirit will also be supporting Project Libertad…

Celebrating WellCome Back Sunday

On Sunday, September 12th, we marked our return to in-person services with our annual “WellCome Back Sunday” celebration. We began with music, and then moved onto a special segment where we told a story about a villager going each day to a river to collect water in buckets – one of which had a leak. We needed a little help from the congregation for the end of the story… We also heard both Rev. Lee and Rev. Ken speak as…

Grab a Coffee with Rev. Lee (In Person)

As we prepare to physically re-gather on Sunday mornings, I’d like to return to an old practice of mine for the remainder of the summer: offering some time for all of you to connect, with me and with each other, over lunchtime during the week. Starting July 15th, I’ll be hosting “Lunch with Rev. Lee” again – in person! – every Thursday from 11am to 1pm. We’ll rotate between a few different locations in the areas where WellSpringers live –…

A Message From Rev. Lee About The Events in Our Nation’s Capitol

As Unitarian Universalists we support democratic values – and today, a small group of people are attacking those values at our US Capitol building, with horrifying force. Many of us are scared, shocked, sad, and angry about what we’re seeing. Together we can join, amidst our heartbreak, and remind each other that what happens next is always up to us. How we speak about what’s happening today, how we engage in conflict, how we defend human rights in our own…
