This Sunday will be an exciting one as we observe two big events at WellSprings: the welcoming of new members and the final day of our 2025 Pledge Drive.
It all happens during a special, annual service we call “Belonging Sunday” – a celebration of our WellSprings community, where we also recognize and welcome all the new members who have joined in the previous year.
Belonging Sunday is an all-ages service, so the Big Blue Rug will be out on the floor in Bell Hall, providing a special place for kids to gather and listen to a story shared by Ministerial Intern, Nick Sanchez. Kids are invited to stay with us for the entire service, and there will be no YouthSpirit dismissal. We’ll also have a special “Charged Full Living Moment” from teens active in our Teen Spirit & Service group.
Belonging Sunday does give us the opportunity to celebrate and welcome our newest members, but it’s also an opportunity for current members to reflect on their own sense of belonging, and how WellSprings adds to, and fits into, their lives right now. Taking this time to consider and recommit each year is a practice which, we hope, helps our members connect to the deeper meaning of being one small part of this larger community we share. Together we can continue to share in this community.

We’ll conclude our service by celebrating and blessing all your pledges, and we’ll have paper forms available on Sunday for anyone who hasn’t yet made their commitment online. A special coffee hour snack will be provided by the Belonging Team.
