A Look Back at Our “Starting Small” Message Series

Helping Hands: Project Recap and Thank You
We want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your many contributions to the HeartWorks & YouthSpirit HelpingHands service project! WellSpringers of all ages donated money and items, made cards and blankets, and assembled all donated materials into 100 bags. These bags will go to unhoused folks in center city Philadelphia in a few weeks; we are working with Better Days Ahead to schedule a date. Fall Fun in YouthSpirit
We had a perfect day for a return to in-person YouthSpirit this past Sunday! Friends showed up ready to re-connect, so we organized an ice-breaker, a walk in the woods, and some card-making for the Helping Hands service project. On Sunday, September 12th, we marked our return to in-person services with our annual “WellCome Back Sunday” celebration. We began with music, and then moved onto a special segment where we told a story about a villager going each day to a river to collect water in buckets – one of which had a leak. This past Sunday, August 15th, marked the first time we’ve gathered together in person for Sunday services since March 8th, 2020. It was a wonderful day for our community in so many ways. YouthSpirit will mark its own one year anniversary online – 52 weeks – this Sunday, March 21st. If you’ve read Rev.
