This past Sunday, August 15th, marked the first time we’ve gathered together in person for Sunday services since March 8th, 2020. It was a wonderful day for our community in so many ways. The music, the fellowship, and spirit in the room was healing for us all after such a long absence.
We are planning a second “Sneak Preview” service on September 5th at 10 AM. You can read our FAQs, which cover safety protocols, if you plan to attend.
We’d love to have you join us if you’re comfortable. As always, please feel free to reach out to our staff with any questions you may have.
YouthSpirit Reunites
Old friends had a chance to re-connect, outside and masked, during the YouthSpirit portion of our first “sneak-peak” service.
Thanks to YS helper Noah, and YS Caregiver Sharon, we had a chance to try out our own in-person interactions – we discussed why we would stay masked outside to protect one-another, we played on the playground, threw some frisbee, and visited an old friend (the fairy-tale tree near Gresh).
It was wonderful to see these kids be willing to connect and interact after such a long time away from one another! We have some community building to do – and that’s just what we’ll be doing this fall.
Online Services Continue
Those of you who joined us online saw that our expected setup for streaming didn’t quite work out the way we’d hoped, but this valuable troubleshooting is precisely why we planned these preview services. We learned a lot this week, even if it happened the hard way.
We’re so thankful for the grace and understanding extended to us by our community, and plans are already well underway to ensure we have a much better online experience for you soon.
As you can see, there’s a lot of talent and volunteer effort going into these live Sunday broadcasts. Please keep tuning in online, if that’s your preferred method of connecting with WellSprings. Our online presence is here to stay!
