As we begin our new congregational year, I would like to share a blessing for our community from the Central East Region UUA…a blessing for all the new beginnings.
May we bless all that is new, welcoming it with joy.
May we bless all that is returning, honoring the stability that it brings.
May we bless all that has come to pass, recognizing the role it has played in shaping us.
And may we bless all that is to come, creating space for the sweet revelations that it has to offer.
Blessed Spirit of Life and Love, come, bless us in our service to one another.
Our leaders devote their energy and service to help make WellSprings a charged-full community. The Leadership Development Ministry and Senior Leaders would like to give a shout out to all those who began new leadership roles this past year or are beginning new roles this year. Chris Groppe began co-leading the JusticeWorks team. Ted Howe began leading the Tech Team. Leanne Miller Rush and Casey O’Donnell are the co-leaders of the revitalized Belonging Team. Some of the Board of Trustees took on new roles: Chris Rieder became the Board President, Jim Sterchele became the Treasurer, and Jennifer Nettingham is now the Secretary. Andrea Tollison was newly elected to the Board of Trustees. And recently, Sarah Costa became the team leader for the Worship Leaders Team.
Also, we deeply appreciate the valuable contributions of those who stepped down from leadership positions this past year. Eli Musewicz was secretary on the Board for two years. Andrew Scullion led the Tech Team the past four plus years. Kathy Burke-Howe was the team leader for the Worship Leaders Team for four years. Linda Peduto co-led the Small Groups Team for many years and will still be involved as a team member with Terry Rothermel continuing as leader.
Last but not least, a special thanks goes to those Senior Leaders who are continuing in their roles to plan, build and shape our community! Their many hours of work and support toward our congregational goals are appreciated. Also, thanks to the numerous team members who volunteered their time and support toward our vision and mission. It takes all of us to build our beloved community!
Blessings to you all for your generosity and commitment to sustaining WellSprings!
