This past Sunday our Board of Trustees led our annual Congregational Meeting, after Service.
You can view the annual Congregational Meeting at the YouTube link above. The meeting starts at 01:20:30. Included in the meeting were reports by the Board and the Minister, an update on our financial position, and our 2025-2026 Stewardship Campaign. Our congregation offered gratitude to our outgoing Board President Tonie Scullion for her outstanding work.
Presented during the meeting were the Congregational Goals for 2025-2026. They are as follows:
- Spill Our Tea: Tell folks about us. Share us with your neighbors. Talk about something that moved you on Sunday, or about a person you know in the congregation who inspires you. Practice doing it with anyone and everyone – even people who you think may never want to come here. That way it’ll be easy to tell the people who really need us – and you may never know when that’s exactly who you’re talking to.
- Build Our Bonds: Attend or host a small group gathering. Sit next to someone you’ve never spoken with before, and introduce yourself to them. Invest in our community and help us build a strong foundation with the folks here now, so that we can continue to support newcomers – and other communities beyond our doors. Strong bonds make us resilient, and help us show up for those who are afraid and hurting.
- Fund Our Future: Find your way to give back to WellSprings, so that you can feel a part of what sustains our community into the future. Participate in learning opportunities and planning conversations, to help us build and fund our next era. Thank others freely, for the ways you see them supporting this community – and, by extension, supporting you, and the people you love.
This year, two changes to our Bylaws have been proposed and will be included in our Congregation’s vote. You can view the proposed changes to the bylaws here. Discussion on these changes can also be viewed in the video of the Congregational Meeting.
WellSprings members Sandy Tucker and Chris Reider are standing for re-election to the Board and WellSprings member Jenn Nettingham is standing for election. If you are a member of WellSprings and have not yet cast your vote in the Board election, you can click here to access the ballot. Voting remains open until Sunday, June 22nd at 8:00pm.
A big thank you to our entire community, as we wrap up another charged-full congregational year at WellSprings! We hope you will join us in embracing our Congregational Goals for the coming year.
