We are so excited to announce the hiring of our new Production & Arts Coordinator at WellSprings: Joanna Lovell!
This new position on our Staff has been a long time in the making – a part-time role working closely with our Band and Tech Team, helping us build more opportunities for all WellSpringers to engage with music and the arts.
Joanna brings a remarkably fitting combination of skills and experience to this position, as she’s worked in the AV integration industry for the last five years, with technical expertise in audio and video production. Prior to that, she served for nine years as the Music Director at the First UU Fellowship of Hunterdon County, NJ, and for two years as Choir Director at the UU Fellowship of Vero Beach, FL. Joanna trained in Audio Production and Engineering at the Center for the Media Arts in NYC, and worked at Battery Recording Studios in Manhattan for most of the 1990s.
As a lifelong UU, Joanna “has always believed in the power of collaboration and community,” and says, “I am looking forward to filling a position that so well suits so many of my skills. It has been a goal of mine to marry technology with creativity. Thank you WellSprings, for offering me this opportunity!”
Joanna currently resides in Bethlehem, PA with her cat Beatrice. As she prepares for an upcoming move to Chester County, Joanna will begin her position with us on a limited schedule, joining us for Sunday services approximately twice a month. We anticipate her hours with us will grow to fill the position description as advertised, within the coming year.
Joanna’s first Sunday with us will be October 30th – please join us then, to meet Joanna, and welcome her warmly to WellSprings!
