Dear WellSprings family,
With grateful hearts, the Stewardship Ministry is wrapping up this year’s pledge campaign. Thank you to everyone who already made a pledge commitment for our next fiscal year!
Generosity is Love in Action! Each dollar you pledge lights the way for everything we do together – singing with the band, gathering in Bell Hall and online, caring for our children and teens, supporting our ministers and staff, and serving our wider community. Because our budget is supported through your annual giving, your pledge is love made visible.
So far, we have received $189,277 in pledges from 57 member families and 8 non-member friends. This is 86% of the way to our goal of $220,000. At our June congregation meeting, the Board announced a proposed draft budget of $215,863 for FY26-27. This moderate deficit allows for a 3% COLA staff compensation increase, the first since 2020.
While the Board has revised the budget downward, we still need additional pledges to meet WellSprings’ needs in the coming year. If you have not pledged yet, please consider doing so soon – any amount is helpful. Pledges made now would be fulfilled between July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027.
Have you been giving regularly without filling out a pledge form? Letting us know your intent to give by making a pledge makes a big difference for planning. Knowing the Congregation’s capacity for giving allows the Board to develop a sustainable budget and if possible, provide for appropriate cost of living increases for our minister and staff.
