What is the Belonging Team?

WellSprings is so much more than Sunday services. We’re a thriving community making connections and deepening our spiritual practices in many different ways. However, we understand that feeling at home in any group takes time, and that’s exactly what the Belonging Team is here to help facilitate. At WellSprings, we want you to experience a sense of belonging. Whether you’re the kind of person who comes every Sunday, jumps right into Springboard discussions, volunteers for various teams; or if your life and responsibilities dictate that you’re not able to make it to WellSprings as often, you can find connection. Perhaps you’re fairly new and are looking for opportunities to meet your fellow congregants. Perhaps you’ve been coming for quite some time but aren’t sure how to make stronger connections. We’re here to help! As we say on the Belonging Team, “There is no they, only we.” We want every person coming through our doors to feel that and really believe it. We foster that sense of well-being and social connection through picnics, Soup at Six gatherings and other events. We can also help you connect with small groups for spiritual growth, WellSprings teams and ministries, and youth programs to keep the whole family involved. In many ways, the Belonging Team is guided by you. What can we do to help you? What do you need from us to help you feel that you have a place here? If you’ve been looking for a way in, and haven’t been sure about where to start, please consider this a warm invitation to let us know right here and now. The Belonging Team leadership wants to hear from you. You can contact Phyllis Mahers or Denise Trimble to open a conversation about how WellSprings can feel like a second home to you.
