Thanks to all the WellSpringers who contributed to Jennifer Cadogan Nettingham ‘s Holiday Cheer 2020 project, supported by our YouthSpirit staff and volunteers.
Ten families picked up card-making materials at our drive-through event last month, and several more offered to contribute using their own materials. At last count, we had at least 50 cards towards the initial 300 hand-made card goal.
This was an all ages event – kids and grownups alike drew, glued, wrote, and collaged every unique holiday wish.
Folks at the following organizations benefitted from your kindness:
- Young Lives (supporting teen mothers)
- Freedom Village and Hickory House nursing homes
- Chester County Youth Detention Center
- LGBTQ Equality Alliance
- Home of the Sparrow (women’s shelter)
