The Ordination of Beth Monhollen

Beth Monhollen has served our congregation so well, as WellSprings’ first official “Kenneth S. Beldon Ministerial Intern,” joining us in the summer of 2021. Beth is here with us to complete the final step in the ministerial formation process – and now that she has been evaluated by our national denomination and approved for fellowship, she is free to be formally ordained into the Unitarian Universalist ministry. WellSprings is so pleased to be a sponsor this year, for the 6th Annual Chester County Pride Festival! PrideFest will be held on Bridge Street in downtown Phoenixville, from noon to 5pm on Saturday, June 10th. Rev. All Ages Connection: Sign-Making

Our next All-Ages Connection event is on April 30th, right after service, organized by YouthBridge and the IAC. Stick around for post-service poster making in support of DEI and the Interfaith Action Council’s upcoming (5/6) “United in Diversity” event. We’ll supply the markers, crayons and posters.  You bring your ideas to create signs that encourage us all to be welcoming and inclusive. Put your WS values into practice with messages of love and support for ALL communities.

Intro to Mindful Meditation SpringBoard

This Spring, we’re thrilled to offer this relaxing and centering small group workshop. Whether you’re brand new to mindful meditation, or if you’ve been practicing for years, this group is for you. Through discussion and practice, participants will explore mindfulness of the breath, body, emotions and thoughts. We will also concentrate on heart practices and bringing your practice out into the world. This SpringBoard will take place Mondays at 7 pm via Zoom, March 6th through April 10th.

Memorial for Our Friend, Ed Thornton

Family and Friends of late WellSprings member Ed Thornton, are invited to a celebration in honor of his life. Join us on Saturday, April 1st at 2 pm in the Montgomery school dining Hall. Please dress casually, but you are encouraged to wear Green in honor of Ed’s Irish Roots. Music, food, and drink will be available!

Potluck Lunch

As we explore the “recipe” for Making a Life this winter, let’s share some of our favorite recipes with each other at a Pot Luck lunch, after service on Sunday, February 26th! You can pitch in with cooking, setting up, or cleaning up (and, of course, eating). We’ll gather in the Dining Hall, and our YouthBridge Ministry will have board games available as an opportunity for intergenerational connection. This is an all-ages, family-friendly event! Listening to Our Lives SpringBoard

This is our signature small group (also known as Wellsprings 2.0) where participants explore big questions and timeless spiritual topics together: about Inspiration, God, Community, Suffering and Death, Spiritual Practice, Living our Gifts, and more.  It’s an ideal first Springboard if you’ve never tried one before, great for newer members, or anyone looking to deepen their spiritual lives.
