For anyone who could use some quiet time this summer, a chance to reconnect with yourself, or a low-key way to reconnect with others in our beloved community, Rev. Lee is offering a Summertime Meditation Drop-In every Thursday night at the Montgomery School, beginning this week. We’ll gather outside (weather permitting) from 6 to 7pm. The first half-hour will be set aside for simple, silent meditation practice, along with a brief introduction and check-in. The optional second half hour is for anyone who’d like to sit, chat, and connect socially in a beautiful space. Come by every week, or just once to try it out, or as often as your schedule permits – no advanced signup is necessary. Look for us at the outdoor classroom, by the creek – the entrance is at the bottom right corner of the lower parking lot, on the Montgomery School campus. There are wood benches with backs in the outdoor classroom – but feel free to bring a cushion or anything else that will make your sit more comfortable.
