We try not to get involved, hope things will work out, or that someone else will show up to fix it\u2026 but <strong>sometimes we need to take the leap \u201coff the fence.\u201d <\/strong>Instead of retreating, we show up for each other, we collaborate across differences, we stay humble and willing to learn. If we do, we just might find a stronger, more durable safety than any fence can promise: one that\u2019s rooted in our ability to rely on each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color\"><strong>God Without Borders <\/strong><em>our Holiday Message Series<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color\"><strong>If you\u2019ve left religion behind \u2013 but held on to God \u2013 you\u2019re not alone.<\/strong> The latest research shows that 80% of Americans claiming \u201cno religion in particular\u201d still believe in some kind of higher power. Human beings crave meaning, purpose, connection through hard times, and we so often long for something larger, to hold us through it all. Join us this Holiday season to explore how all different concepts of God can shape our lives \u2013 and deepen our experience of living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color\"><strong>Daily Reminders <\/strong><em>our Winter Message Series<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color\">In today\u2019s world, we struggle to make time for work, family, chores, self-care, friendships, hobbies, personal growth \u2013 oh, right\u2026 and our \u201cspiritual lives.\u201d <strong>But what if there is no \u201cspiritual life\u201d separate from the \u201crest of life?\u201d <\/strong>What if <em>everything<\/em> is just one more piece of this miraculous gift\u2026the only life we\u2019ll get? As the new year begins, let\u2019s explore new ways to uncover the spirituality that\u2019s hiding in plain sight \u2013 right here, in the moment, each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color\"><strong>Every Kind of Love <\/strong><em>our Spring Message Series<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color\">When a 98-year-old member of our community passed away last year, her family reminded us of her favorite thing about this congregation:<strong> it\u2019s a place where you can find \u201cevery kind of love.\u201d <\/strong>This Spring, we\u2019ll explore love in all its forms \u2013 as a power that holds us together, as an experience showing up within all different kinds of relationships, and as a gift that we all get to receive in this life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color\"><strong>Books Set Free <\/strong><em>our May Message Series<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-color has-text-color\">The books that surround us in childhood give us windows into other worlds \u2013 or reflections of our own. City kids learn about small town life. Tweens begin to imagine their future careers. Teenagers growing up in tough situations learn what healthy love can look like. <strong>With access to books, every kind of kid can find a story that helps them feel less alone.<\/strong> In our all-ages series this May, we\u2019ll set banned books free \u2013 celebrating the value and truth to be found, in every human story.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re busy planning for the year ahead at WellSprings!
