Ken&#8217;s Ministry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After 17 years&nbsp;as Founding Minister&nbsp;at WellSprings Congregation, Rev. Ken Beldon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wellspringsuu.org\/new\/an-important-letter-from-rev-ken-and-the-board-of-trustees\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"5614\">is retiring<\/a> at the end of June. Join us for a celebration to honor Rev. Ken, after our service this Sunday. We&#8217;ll have food, live music, stories and memories, and a few surprises to honor all that his ministry has&nbsp;meant to our community, and to&nbsp;each of our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this past Sunday&#8217;s service, Rev. Ken was granted the title of Minister Emeritus by unanimous vote! Ken is granted the title of Minister Emeritus!\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4wJ18HrGUDc?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=transparent&#038;rel=0&#038;showinfo=0&#038;color=white&#038;modestbranding=1\" style=\"border: none;\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s a schedule for how Sunday will go:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>10 am: Sunday Service in person or online <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/edZSwWum3EQ\">at this link<\/a><\/li><li>11am: Sunday Service ends &#8211; Coffee Hour begins outside<\/li><li>11:30am: Dining Hall will open for lunch, served buffet style (Seating in Dining Hall and\/or outside, weather permitting)<\/li><li>12:30pm &#8211; 2pm: Formal program featuring speakers, a presentation of gifts, and a special farewell. <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/r7-MReEm-hU\">Watch the livestream here<\/a>.<\/li><li>2-3pm: Wrap-up and cake served in the Dining Hall<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First Time Back With Us?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As we mark the end of Rev. Ken\u2019s ministry, we anticipate that some WellSpringers may be considering attending in-person for the first time since March 2020. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wellspringsuu.org\/new\/updates-to-our-covid-19-protocol\/\" target=\"_blank\">Our latest gathering guidelines<\/a> include a 50-person limit on Sunday attendance in Bell Hall. For this special event, <strong>we are temporarily suspending that limit<\/strong>. Doors and windows will be kept open for ventilation. Please be aware that we are still leaving the choice to wear masks up to each individual. If you are ill, we prefer that you stay home \u2013 but we will ask that you mask up at WellSprings if you are experiencing symptoms of illness, or if you\u2019ve recently been exposed to Covid-19. This celebration will be live-streamed <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/c\/WellSpringsCongregation\" target=\"_blank\">on YouTube<\/a> if you&#8217;d prefer to tune in from home.
