{"id":4591,"date":"2021-01-12T18:04:42","date_gmt":"2021-01-12T23:04:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wellspringsuu.org\/new\/?p=4591"},"modified":"2021-01-13T16:15:32","modified_gmt":"2021-01-13T21:15:32","slug":"mlk-day-of-service-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wellspringsuu.org\/new\/mlk-day-of-service-project\/","title":{"rendered":"MLK Day of Service Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wellspringsuu.org\/new\/more\/ministries\/youthspirit-ministry\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2869\">Youth Bridge Ministry<\/a> together with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wellspringsuu.org\/new\/more\/ministries\/justiceworks\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2770\">JusticeWorks Team<\/a> is happy to announce a service project to honor the Martin Luther King National Day of service.&nbsp;We welcome all WellSpringers to join us in this contactless project to help women and families staying at local shelters.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mediafellowshiphouse.org\/\">Media Fellowship House<\/a> Youth Coalition is hosting their 4th Annual Toiletry Drive.&nbsp;Media Fellowship House (MFH) was Founded in 1944, and their mission is to provide programs that promote social justice, diversity, and economic empowerment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are collecting the items on the list below and the MFH will deliver them to women and sheltered families at Pathways CFF, Wesley House and Mothers&#8217; Home.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Participate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you wish to purchase items, you can drop them off in one of three locations.&nbsp;Carol, Tiffany and Micah will have a drop box on their porches&nbsp;until January 16th&nbsp;for contactless drop off.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/e.onrealm.org\/posts\/d3ce57c7-8d4f-4186-80ca-db97acc8e670\">Click here to see the drop off locations on Realm<\/a>.&nbsp;<br><\/li><li>If you would like to make a monetary donation to help purchase supplies on our list, <a href=\"https:\/\/onrealm.org\/wellsprings\/give\/MLK\">you can do so at this link<\/a>. <strong>All donations are<\/strong> <strong>due by January 16th<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requested Items<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Soap (hand &amp; body)<\/li><li>Hand Sanitizer<\/li><li>Lip Balm \/ Vaseline<\/li><li>Deodorant<\/li><li>Shampoo <\/li><li>Conditioner<\/li><li>Lotion (body &amp; face)<\/li><li>Feminine Products<\/li><li>Laundry Detergent<\/li><li>Baby Wipes <\/li><li>Diapers<\/li><li>Baby Wash<\/li><li>Baby Lotion<\/li><li>Baby Laundry Detergent&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your help in providing for our neighbors this winter.
