More About Small Groups

Small group ministry at WellSprings provides rich and diverse experiences to help us deepen our connections, meet one another, and grow!

We offer Springboards throughout the year, led by our ministers or by members of WellSprings, focused on a particular area for personal or spiritual growth. Springboards offer a focused opportunity to get to know a small group of other WellSpringers and explore a topic over 1-2 months.

Retreats and Soul Bites are our one-time opportunities to gather for spiritual growth. Retreats provide the chance to take a deep dive, and typically meet for a full day or an entire weekend. Soul Bites are one-time, 2-3 hour opportunities to gather for a short conversation, activity, or practice together. We also offer ongoing drop-in style small groups for spiritual practice and mutual support, as interest and capacity within our community allows – including our new Apple Tree groups.

Most groups meet at the Montgomery School in Chester Springs. Some meet outdoors, in homes of members in our area (Downingtown, Phoenixville, Malvern, Coatesville, Exton, etc.), or in libraries, parks, or other open community spaces. WellSprings members can sign into our online community on Realm to find a current list of open groups.
