This Sunday at 10 AM on our YouTube Channel, we hope you’ll join us for a special Easter Sunday service. We are keeping our physical distance again this year, but we have plenty in store to make it a special day for all.
Here’s what you can expect this year:
- A Virtual Easter Egg Hunt: Like last year, WellSprings is once again participating in a virtual Easter egg hunt. Go on a tour of UU Congregation websites, and see if you can find the eggs hiding on each page. (Yes, there’s one hidden somewhere on the WellSprings site too!) Click here to begin the hunt (link goes live on Saturday, April 3, and continues through April).
- Easter Egg Show & Tell: If your family decorates or dyes Easter eggs, YouthSpirit is having an Easter egg show and tell at the 9 AM Zoom Room. Bring your favorite creations and tell us all about them.
- A Bunny Greeting: Did you know WellSprings has an official Easter Bunny? Rev. Ken and his wife, Teresa, have been raising rescue bunnies for many years. Their pet rabbit, Sheldon, will make an appearance at our 10 AM service.
- A Charged-Full Living Moment: Our HeartWorks Team is delivering a special message about an upcoming community aid initiative. They’ll tell us all about the project, and how we can lend a hand.
- Easter Surprises for our Young Friends: The YouthSpirit Team has been assembling and delivering Easter treat bags for WellSprings kids 12 and under. Be on the lookout for your bag, if you haven’t seen it already!
We hope you can join us for this special service at 10 AM, and for our Coffee Hour at 11 AM following the service. Here’s a great opportunity to dress in your Easter best for the camera. Hats? Pastels? Florals? Spring-themed PJs? We hope to see a very colorful crowd on Zoom!
