Below are a few common technical issues you might be facing, and how to solve them. If you are having difficulty accessing Zoom, whether it’s for our coffee hour, for Lunch with…

Easter at WellSprings

This coming Sunday, April 12, is Easter. While this is typically a day where we expect a packed house and boisterous greetings at WellSprings, we will be observing this occasion from our homes, hopefully safe and well. However, we are still bringing the spirit of community to you! Below is a list of Charged-Full events you can look forward to this week: A real live Easter Bunny! Rev. Ken and his wife, Teresa, have been proud bunny owners for years,…

Join a Campfire…

In her message on March 22nd, Rev. Lee spoke about “digital campfires” – small group communities with a common center, that gather across great distances. With all the uncertainty around us and ahead of us today, we’d like to try creating a few virtual “Campfire” circles within WellSprings, for anyone who wants a little company, and support, from afar. Campfires will be small groups of 5-8 people who commit to check in with each other, all through the time that…

Sunday Morning Online

Until we can gather in person again, WellSprings is finding new ways to connect online. We’re adding some things to our schedule this weekend! Check out our Sunday plans: Every Sunday: 9am YouthSpirit. On Sundays we’ll use the online platform “Zoom” to gather kids together! To start, we’ll simply be walking through some of the basic functionality of Zoom, and checking in on each other. We know how much WellSprings matters to all of us, and we’re so grateful that we can continue to share experiences of connection, even during a time when keeping physical distance is an act of care. Beginning on Sunday, March 15th, we’ll offer a new kind of experience: WellSprings Online. Here’s how it works: At 10am each Sunday morning, a video will go live on our YouTube channel. You’ll see everything you expect to see at a regular service. A worship leader…

WellSprings Suspending All In-Person Gatherings

WellSpringers, I’m writing to you all this evening to update you on our community’s plans, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Board and I have decided that as of Friday, March 13th, we are suspending all in-person WellSprings gatherings, until further notice. In our conversations over the past week, I’ve heard how many of you are dealing with the changing environment around COVID-19 in your own workplaces, in schools, and with your families. The Board and I have also…

Coronavirus and our Congregation: An Evolving Situation

Lee and Board President Chris Chepel joined a call hosted by the Chester County Department of Health, offering guidance to religious and other community organizations. At this time, there is no recommendation in the county to cancel religious services. The Montgomery School is also in daily communication with…

Keeping One Another Healthy

Coronavirus and our Congregation As you are probably aware, the coronavirus, COVID-19 has made its way to the US, and many are wondering how we can keep ourselves and one another safe and healthy through this season. There is currently no advice for people in our area to avoid public gatherings like religious services, assuming they are healthy. However, it’s still important that we approach this situation in an educated and cautious way. With that in mind, here are our…

Ken & Rev. Lee will be using as they write their messages, and other opportunities for reflection. It is our hope that these materials will…
